stop的用法
(1)stop doing sth. 意为“停止做某事”，doing是stop的宾语，是要停止的动作。例如：The four boys stopped talking when they saw me.
那四个男孩一见我就停止了讲话。
(2)stop to do sth. 意为“停下来开始做某事”，to do 是stop 的状语，表示目的，指要开始做的事情。例如：
The four boys stopped to talk to me when they saw me.
那四个男孩一看到我就停下来和我讲话。
(3)stop …from doing sth. 意为“阻止……做某事”，from可以省略。例如：
We must stop him from going to swim in the river.
我们必须阻止他去河里游泳。
